The Weekend

So I have decided that the weekends go by way too fast......I think we should add another day in. On Saturday, I was busy researching ancient civilizations and technology for my final powerpoint that is due this Wednesday. I found a few good articles and will get those printed out today and the powerpoint made up so I can present. Then my BIG paper is due much later. So that consumed a big part of my day. I wanted to get more homework done, but after spending so much time I just said forget it. So today (Monday) I will get some more done after my 2pm class. On Sunday, I had to teach the sunday school lesson for the single adult group. It went pretty well. I got ribbed for using technology (I showed a VHS movie) and I said of course, that is why I am going to school. It was all good fun. During EQ, we were told of a brother who was in the hospital and wanted a blessing and the sacrament. I would have voluntered, but I don't have a car and I don't even know where the hospital is. But then the EQ President found someone who had a car and who was a medical student at the hospital, so I said yes I would go. When we got there, this poor old man we learned had been in the hospital for 30 days. He had fallen 35 feet and was in pretty bad shape. This week is the week that the doctors are going to decide whether to keep his legs or not. After about an hour of talking we left. The rest of my Sabbath was just relaxing and I just stayed home. I was going to go with the missionaries again, but the plans changed so I will just go another time. I hope that everyone is having fun. It is 64 today (better than the 78 we have had the past couple of days.)
