Wednesday

So I woke up this morning to attend the Conduct Review Board training. I received a manual and now have to read that. It sounds as though this board knows what it is doing and I am glad to be a part of it. I don't think that I have to serve until next semester, so that will be good. I had my American Lit class and my World Civ class. In American Lit we have moved onto the slave movement in literature, so we watched a movie today about how that all came about. It was very interesting. I have some thoughts about that and how the English changed laws to fit their needs with regards to other human beings. I have 100 pages of reading for Lit and some reading for World Civ. We finally finished our movie in World Civ (we have been waiting for this projector to get fixed.....you would think with all the money the school has that they would use it on the students......ha!). Now we move onto Greek history. I am hoping to get all my homework done before Savannah comes so I don't have homework to do when she is here. I am hoping...........
Thanks Grampy and Grammy for the cinnamon rolls, letter, and other goodies. I ate one right of the box and it tasted so good......but then again maybe I just was really hungry?? (just teasing...haha). It really did taste good and I liked the crunchy peanut butter too. You need to write that recipe down so I can make those up here. That would be lots of fun to have. I talked with another department head today regarding my position on the College's discrimination policy. Quite a few people know about me.....sorry Savannah.....not keeping a low profile.......anyways I meet with the Financial Director next week to discuss the problem. The one lady I talked with today surprised me because she was glad that I had brought up the issue for them to look at (she didn't use those specific words, but that was the gist). So I go next week and talk with this guy. I don't even know what he wants to talk about, but I guess I will find out. Then I also have been working with my assistant program director because registration starts in the next few weeks. So I am trying to get my credits all transferred and settled. In the middle of our chat today the assistant program director asks me to present to the DFA (digital forensic association) a little information about a software program in the legal industry. So the topic is something like how this software applies to digital evidence and how people should know what it does. I don't even know that much, but guess I will be studying up on it to learn more! Well its early so I am going to close. Savannah should be calling any minute anyways and I have to talk to her........
