Saturday

This is a picture of the nativity that the Joseph Smith Memorial put on for part of the program when they turned on the lights. It was a live nativity. It was narrated and everything. The donkeys and sheep were real as well. I'm going to have to bring Savannah up next year to watch it. Of course, it was very cold!!

This is some of the Christmas lights that were on the Joseph Smith Memorial grounds.

This is another part of the grounds with the lights and the Joseph Smith Memorial Granite Shaft.

Let's see what happened today.....ummm....nothing too exciting.....just more school work, then I got ready to go to Sharon this afternoon. Bob, Tiffany, and I all went. I saw a lot of snow on the way to Sharon. It was very cold. At Sharon, we visited the Prophet's Birthplace. We walked around the grounds and showed Bob where the Prophet was born. He thought it was very interesting. We got to see the Christmas lights get turned on and also saw a live nativity. It was very pretty. The Christmas lights were all around the monument. We drove around the grounds as well and got to see them. The people did a very wonderful job of lighting the place. Then we all headed to a pizza joint for dinner. We drove home after. I am so tired. It is about an hour and a half to the memorial from Burlington. I have nothing else to report. It is supposed to snow later this week. I am looking forward to that. I didn't get all my groceries or laundry done. Guess it will have to happen next week. Hope everyone is having a good day.
