Saturday/Sunday

Well......Saturday I spent all day writing papers that are coming due. It was just a lot of fun. I am so tired of looking at the computer screen and typing away. I have also decided that I really do not like writing opinion papers. I would much rather do a research paper and then write the paper based on my research and thoughts. I have four papers that I am working on, not to mention my final paper (which has to be 15-20 pages) and the project that I have to present for on Wednesday for an hour. I have not even started that......I wish I could just go to bed and have everything done! It is lots of work, but hopefully it pays off in the end. If not, oh well. At least I tried. The temperature didn't get above 34 degrees, so I had no reason to be outside anyways. I was going to do my laundry, but homework came first, so I guess laundry will be done sometime next week. (no Mom, I will not bring it home when I come out!). Then on Sunday, I went to go and pick up Bob. He must have slept past his alarm, so I knocked on his window and woke him up! We got to church just as the opening song was starting! (Good driving on my part I must say). So......(drum roll please).........I got a calling............it should be lots of fun and will keep me busy. I am now a Primary worker assigned to the 6-7 year olds. Bishop said we are just going to overlook policy until my "wife" comes out. So I guess she must have calling as well! So I got to go to Primary today. I was excited until one of the ladies walks up to me and gave me the Primary manual for the Primary program. Then she said that the whole primary presidency was not there so I was in charge. She told me the music for the program was in the CD player and I could take it from there. I was like.....huh?? Are you kidding me?? She was not.....so then sharing time time started and all these kids were coming in (well the whole primary was about 10 kids, but a lot were missing). I told one of the other Primary teachers that the presidency was not here and gave them the Primary program book. But I still had to push the play button on the CD player to start and stop the music. I guess we don't have a pianist in primary. Then after Church, I took Bob home where we cooked hamburgers and had a salad for lunch. Then we talked about the church and how he has set a date for Baptism on the 15th of December. So he is very excited. I'm excited for him too! This week is going to be really busy because I get to go with the Elders for another lady that they met from Peru (but I guess she speaks English) and I am going back to Bob's a couple of times to get to talk to him. He said he had questions about the Church and was a bit nervous about his baptism. So that should be lots of fun to talk to him about that. He also asked if I would baptize him, I told him that I had finals on Saturday, but if his baptism was in the evening, I would do it! Now I need to find out my finals schedule. This is the first year (from what I have been told) that Champlain has done finals on the weekend. I am going to have a little talk about that with someone in charge. Having finals on Saturday/Sunday is the dumbest idea I have ever heard. I also have a big presentation due this week and I am flying out on Friday. Oh, so I am having Thanksgiving dinner with Bob as well. We are hoping that the Elders will join us. Then either on Friday or Saturday (we haven't decided) we want to go to the Joseph Smith Memorial to see the Christmas lights. So Thanksgiving weekend will be busy as well. That's about all I can think of to keep everyone up to date! I heard that Grampy gave a good talk. Too bad I was not there to listen. Did you record it? Probably not......Love to all!
