So today was pretty cold. I was told that we were supposed to get snow flurries tonight. That sounds like fun. I had three classes today. All are going well. I only have 6 weeks left of school and then I get to come home. That should be really fun. tonight I helped Bob the investigator make cookies for the Ward's Thanksgiving Cookie Give Away. Boy that is a story to tell! I got to his house about 8:45 at night (after all my classes) and then we had to go and buy the cookies. So we bought the prepackaged stuff! Then we went back to his house and put the cookies on the cookie sheets. In the meantime we talked about the Church, the Book of Mormon, and some questions that he had. Soon the cookies (I think we made about 45 or so) were starting to get done. One of the times that he took the cookies out, he got the hot pad too close to the oven heating rack and it caught on fire.....I very quickly started to spit on the cookies......just kidding....I did very quickly start to blow on the oven mitt to get the flames to go out. It was pretty funny. Did you know that you should grease the cookie sheets even though the instructions say not to grease them??!!?? So after we got all the cookies cooled and put away we talked a bit more. He even invited me for Thanksgiving dinner. So I think I have three different invites now! Not much else exciting is happening. As I mentioned before it is getting cold and dark now. Hey how do I wear those scarves that Aunt Pam sent me?? Hope everyone is having fun!

A little Pam never hurt anyone and it sure helps the cookies come off and the cleanup better. Not going to hurt the cookies either. But what happened to home made?? It is a lot more interesting!!
Glad you are catching up in school and yet active in missionary work. You'll be missed for Thanksgiving. You will have to have someone else let you make the mashed potatoes. Carol tells me Savannah wants the recipe, I told her you already knew it as well as I did. Love ya - Grampy
haha! You wrap the scarfs around your neck. One side can be longer then the other or you can tuck both sides inside your jacket. I'll show you next week at the wedding. heehee! you're funny!
