Today we went to Bryce Canyon and took a look around. There was a few inches of snow and it was very windy and cold!! Yes, we took pictures and will upload some when I can download them to the computer. Afterwards, Savannah and I packed to head to Vegas. I made sure that we had blankets and my winter clothes in the car (and not the trunk) in case we got stuck. The roads were very hazardous. Savannah drove to Cedar and we were going about 20mph. Once we got to Cedar, we gassed up again and started to drive off onto the I-15. Then traffic came to a standstill. We waited on the road for a good half an hour in the snow. I ended up calling the Utah Highway Patrol to see why traffic was not moving. Come to find out, there was a 4 or 5 car pile-up and the tow trucks were just getting there to clear the road out. So we waited and waited. Then once that got cleared the roads were still wet and icy until the Indian Reservation close to Vegas. Traffic was smooth sailing and we got into Vegas around 11:30pm. So it took almost 6 hours to get from Henrieville to Vegas. Here is an interesting tidbit: How long does it take a little boy (according to Savannah) who travels allllll the way from Vermont to Arizona then to Vegas then to Utah?? Well......how long?? It takes 4 days! Yes, finally yesterday I did not have to take a nap from being so exhausted from all this traveling. It was pretty funny. So today we are going to get Savannah's hair, nails, and everything else done that she needs to do. It's going to be a busy day!!!
