Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to work we go!

Hi all! We just thought we'd let everyone know how we're doing! Last week was fun, kind of. Monday night, Jan 28 Aaron gave the FHE lesson on how to work the washing machines at the laundromat, and I got to get lots of practicing in on that! That same night there was the Assistant Attorney General from Massachusetts speaking at the college about cyber crime, so we went to listen. We walked into the room, and there were a couple people looking at us all funny, probably because they have never seen me before, and there was a girl across the room glaring at me! I think it's because we were holding hands and nobody else was, but I'm not sure! Anyways, one of Aaron's professors got right up and came over to start talking to us, (he's also the director of the program, and Aaron's academic advisor, and he chastized me for not going to lunch with them last week!) I also met the Director of the college's Digital Investigations department, so now I know all the big wigs that Aaron hangs out with! Anyways, after the presentation, I was making fun of all the computer nerds there, and then I realized that I understood like 98% of what the guy was talking about....so I guess I'm a nerd too! Sad day!!!!

Tuesday Aaron worked in the lab, and had class, and we cleaned the apartment a bit each day.

Nothing really exciting happened on wednesday except we went to Bob's house for a few minutes, and took dinner to a lady in the ward who just had gall bladder surgery.

Thursday we went out with the missionaries to a less active member's house. It was pretty fun, but they have the hyperest 4 year old ever! That's why we came along, to babysit! His name is Wolfgang, and he's really cute. He's supposed to be in our class, but mostly goes to nursery still, since he doesn't have a grasp of the gospel yet...or at least a grasp of sitting still yet! We stopped at a little eatery on the way home and got some fries and a shake, it was pretty yummy!

Friday morning I accidentally poisoned Aaron. :( He was in the shower, and instead of making him eat oatmeal again, I was going to be a good wife and surprise him with a breakfast burrito, so I made it, and it looked all pretty, and then he ate it and within like 5 minutes he was doubled over, saying he was dying. I was in the bathroom putting on my makeup, because I was going to get a Vermont state ID that day...yeah, that's a whole different story! Anyways, so there I was, minding my own business, when he comes bursting in the bathroom and starts puking everywhere!!! Ok, it was really only in the toilet, but it was really gross! He was grabbing my leg so he wouldn't fall over, and it was pretty nasty! Just in case anyone is wondering, eggs look the same coming up as they do going down!!! hahahahhaha!!!!!

Saturday we hung out and cleaned a bit, and Aaron did a little homework, and then we met up with this nice little swedish man that Aaron has in one of his classes. He's a retired chemist, and is very smart, but needed a little help on the website. So we went to the college for about an hour, and then went shopping. I got some gym pants, and a new pair of shoes, and Aaron got a really nice pair of hiking boots! We went to Outback for our date night, and then came back home to work on more homework and the primary lesson.

Sunday (today) church was pretty good. Sacrament meeting, all the testimonies were about the funeral for President Hinckley, and we only had 2 kids in our primary class, so there are no adventures from there. Then, in the big primary class, there were only like 6 kids total, and the same amount of teachers, it was pretty funny! I ended up playing one or two of the songs in primary since the pianist was gone, and Clayton, the boy in our class was so cute, he ran after me to sit on my lap, and then Gracie, the little girl that was there got all sad when I was done and she wasn't sitting on my lap. Aaron tried to take one of them, and they promptly jumped off his lap and ran back over to me....poor Aaron! It was pretty cute though! We went to Bob's house today with the missionaries for dinner. We decided to walk, it was pretty fun, but we figured it was about 2 miles, so we caught a ride back with the missionaries, since it was getting pretty cold and dark! Now Aaron is just working on homework and I'm blogging and reading!

Tomorrow I start my job, as an administrative assistant for the Department of Alumni Affairs for Champlain College. Not sure what I do yet, but I know it has to do a lot with databasing, and computer stuff. It should be fun, and I'm pretty excited to walk with Aaron everyday to school! It's located on campus, so we get to eat lunch together, and walk to and from school/work together. I'll let everyone know what I do when I actually find out for myself! Love to everyone!
