So for the past almost 3 months that we've been out here, I've had plenty to occupy myself with on my days off, and when Aaron was doing homework. Well, yesterday all that came to an end. We finished with the final project, leaving me with NOTHING to do. I couldn't believe it! I had nothing to sort through, nothing to shred, no bills to pay, nothing to scan, no paperwork to do, nothing to clean...I couldn't even do the dishes, because I had already done them. OH NO!! What am I gonna do now to occupy myself? We're trying to save our money, so I can't go buy a craft, our apartment is too small to make a quilt, besides the fact that I don't have a sewing machine...I was dying! So I dragged Aaron out to Costco to do some grocery shopping, and to have our traditional Costco hotdog and tasting table snacks for lunch, then I dragged him to Walmart to get more earplugs, since the ones I had were sadly dying. When we got home, the people who are renting the apartment from us during the summer came over and checked it out, and when they were gone...silence. Aaron was doing his homework like a good little boy, and I didn't have anything. So I went to my little computer and emailed a friend from the ward out here. She didn't have anything else to do, so we decided to go to the mall and walk around. I don't usually like to shop, so this was a rarity. When 6 pm rolled around, Aaron said he had made plans for us, but I had to tell him I already had plans, and ruined his surprise to take me to dinner! We decided to do it after I was done shopping, so I guess it wasn't ruined completely. Tiffany (the friend from the ward) came and picked me up, and off we went! Our first stop was Payless....bad bad bad. They were having a sale...oh no! Remember how we're trying to save money? Um..well...I found these shoes, and I just had to buy them! But here's a pic, and you'll see why!Aaron doesn't like them, but I got these babies for only 4 smackers! That's it! What a steal!!! And they're comfortable to boot! So then began our quest to find the rest of the outfit. With a short stop at Auntie Anne's Pretzels, though, for my favorite pretzel with salsa cheese sauce...mmmm.....Tiffany was in search of something also, so we went to Penneys. On our way there, we ran into another friend from the ward, David. Since he didn't have anything to do, he tagged along, and became the fashion consultant. I found the cutest pair of jeans, and had to have them, but the were like 40% off, so I don't feel bad, and Tiffany got a really cute dress for easter. We decided to go get our hair cut, so that was the next stop. Tiffany got a really cute cut for her curly hair, and I just got a little trim, since I hadn't had one since before the wedding. Aaron met us at TGIFridays, where we had some scrumptious food, and then we all headed home. It was a pretty fun night, and I was glad to be out of the house! Now I need to find something else to spend my time on...Maybe I'll get another job or something, because this whole only working 30 hours per week is making me bored!!!
