Ok, Friday it was the most beautiful day!!! We woke up to the sun shining, blue skies, birds chirping...it was like 40 degrees...beautiful!! I took Aaron to school and then headed to the laundromat, and while the clothes were washing I decided to wash the car, because it felt so good! So I scrubbed the car down, inside and out, in my little short sleeved shirt and no jacket, because it was perfect outside! The sun shone all day long, and I had all the windows and blinds open, and the back door, and I scrubbed the house down from top to bottom. All in all it was a very productive spring cleaning day! I was hoping spring was here (Pam knows what I'm talking about!!!!) and Saturday was looking pretty good until around 2, when the clouds started rolling in. It started slushing (rain, snow, and ice all mixed together) around 3, and everything was frozen by 4:30 ish. We took a few videos and pictures, and then went back inside to get ready to go with the missionaries. As we were waiting the power started flickering, and Aaron took the trash out and came back in and said that the house next doors' power just went out...dun dun dun. The missionaries called right around that time and said the person who were supposed to go visit, her power was out, so we had to postpone. So we decided to be adventurous and took a walk in the slush/ice storm, and got some great pictures!! The power kept flickering all night, but stabilized around 9:30, so we weren't worried. I woke up around midnight and the power was out and there was a huge windstorm going on outside!! I stayed awake for about an hour before I woke Aaron up and then we went outside. It was really eerie though, because it was very light, but dark at the same time. And since there was like an inch of ice on the trees, they were knocking together and making really loud noises! We tried to get a few pictures, but couldn't....anyways, the power was out for about 4 hours and it was getting pretty cold in our place!!! Anyways....I'll let the pictures tell the rest!!!

This is a tree that is on the street next to ours.

This is Aaron underneath the branch of the previously mentioned tree.

The poor tree had so much ice on it that it was falling over!!!

This tree didn't know what hit it!

After our frolicking, the part of my hair that wasn't covered in a beany was FROZEN!!!! I was afraid to touch it because I thought it might break off, but it really is frozen in the picture!!! And yes, I do wear other clothes besides my pajamas, but I was cold!!
