This week has been pretty busy! It started out kinda slow, but ended up rather nicely!

Yay!! Finally something interesting to post!!!! We had the missionaries over to our house for dinner, and they brought a way cool investigator with them. I made chicken fetuccini alfredo, one of the elders made a salad at our house, and I made garlic toast. I haven't used the broil feature on any oven very often..so I put the toast in on broil, because I wanted it to get nice and toasty on the top. I kept cooking, everyone was having a jolly time, until Aaron was like "what's burning"....I checked everything, the noodles, the chicken, and then I remembered the bread!!! I opened the oven door and smoke came billowing out!! I quickly closed it and turned off the oven, because I didn't want the smoke detector to go off. Our neighbor's smoke detector goes off at least 5 times a week, sometimes more than once per day, and we always make fun of them, so I was determined not to have ours go off!!! We opened the oven again after a few minutes, and the toast was black all the way through. I took it out to our porch so it could cool off and we wouldn't all die of smoke inhalation..Aaron decided he wanted to try the bread, so he did, and he said it didn't taste that bad...Anyways, we had a great dinner, and for dessert we had the most scrumptious 7 layer chocolate thing from Great Harvest Bread Company, and I made an orange julius...it was a pretty fun night!!!

Tonight we went to a little place called "Pizza Put" with one of the family's in the ward, and their daughter is in our primary class. Our friend Tiffany also came, and we had some pretty scrumptious pizza. There was an arcade and miniature golf there too...we all played miniature golf, and got some good pictures! Aaron got a few hole in ones, but we weren't keeping score, so I guess it doesn't count!!!
After golfing we all got some tokens to play with at the arcade. I love arcades!!! Ski-Ball is my favorite, I don't know why! Aaron had a good time with his shooting games, and I had fun playing all the other games! Me and Tiffany played DDR, that was pretty fun too! We made it through like 8 rounds or something like that, so we both had broken a sweat when we were done!!!
We were there for almost 4 hours, and were pretty tired when we got home!

Today was my day off, so I took a way cute girl from the ward to a town about 2 hours away called Rutland. Her hubby is in med school and has been away for a while, so I gave her a ride to meet him halfway. I'm glad Aaron isn't in med school, I get whiney and pouty when I don't see him after just a few hours! It was a pretty fun trip, but I forgot the camera, so sorry, no pics. When I got back, Aaron, me, and Tiffany went to the downtown mall. Actually, Aaron just dropped me off so I could shop with Tiffany, but we ended up eating dinner at their food court, and then Aaron ditched. The reason we went is because I wanted to get a pair of rain boots, since it's supposed to be "mud season" coming up....but we couldn't find anything. The only pair of rain boots I found were like $80! NO WAY!!! After the mall closed we went to a pet store and Tiffany got 2 cute pet rats, and I had to exercise great self control not to get these adorable little dwarf hampsters. All in favor of me getting them say "AY!"

Saturday, March 22
We slept in until 9, that was nice! There was a baptism today, and Aaron told the elders I would speak at it...gee thanks....So I talked, and used Grandma Weech's talk about the Holy Ghost, and even gave her a flashlight!!! It was pretty fun, and I guess it turned out ok. That was at noon, and later that evening around 5 we had to be back at the church for a primary in-service meeting/dinner. That went well, but we both thought it was Sunday since we were at church all afternoon!!!

I'm with you on the rain boots!
I didn't have any last year...and I have the muddy shoes to prove it.
Let me know if you find any good deals. I saw some at Costco a while ago, but didn't pick any up and now they're gone!
Wow, I look much better in my head. And in real life. Sure ;)
But look at how much cuter you look by comparison! You should hang out with me more often ;)
And the hamsters were cute, I'm not gonna lie...
OK...so you like to have comments...love the jeans...your meal for the missionaries sounded scrumptious (except for the bread, of course!) ((aaron would eat anything!!)).. and hamsters only live 2 years...very sad to see them "go"! I know from experience!!
