Ok fine!

I'll update for pete's sake! The problem with getting behind in the blogging world, is that you can never seem to fully catch up! I kept waiting for the summer to slow down a little, but it didn't and now I'm a month behind. Oh well, here's a brief summary of the months of July and August, with unfortunatly no pics (mostly because I didn't take very many!)

We got back from the cruise and the Florida trip, and things calmed down for, oh, about a nano second. Aaron and I played hooky while the rest of the family went to a family reunion on the 4th of July. We didn't even watch fireworks..how lame! Sometime in the 3rd week of July, Dena, me, and Grammy made a very fun trip to Colorado to chill with aunt Pam and her family. They are the greatest! We helped re-paint their house and do a bit of fixing up since they are selling their house. Jacob received the priesthood, and Aaron and Grampy joined us on Saturday and Sunday. One of the days the girls went shopping for a few hours so aunt Pam could "sass me up"...Aaron said I already have enough sass, but we went shopping anyway! Ever since I've joined the family Dena and the girls have been trying to get me to embrace the world of patterned clothing...I finally gave in. Actually, Pam only picked out patterned clothes for me to try on so I really didn't have a choice! I don't have any pics of that, only of the scenery...but I promised Pam I would post some, so as soon as we get back to Vermont I promise I'll do a little fashion show or something!


The rest of July went by with nothing major to speak of, and then the 2nd weeked of August I went to Utah to help out at my family's hotel. Aaron stayed here to work, and I went there for 5 days. I worked 40 hours in 3 days, and totally didn't want to leave! I know, I sound like a hick, but there's something about running a business and knowing that it's yours...I don't know. Much better than working for someone else anyway! If there were only computer forensic jobs available there, we would move to good 'ol Henrieville in a minute! Again, no pics for this trip either. Man, I've really been slacking!!! I made it back to Arizona and have just been working since. Our last day is tomorrow (8-22) and Saturday we head to Vegas. My parents meet up with us in Vegas to pick up their car and take us to the airport where our flight leaves at 6 am Monday morning and we're on our way back to Vermont.

So, I think we're pretty much caught up now! Only 3 more days until we're back in Vermont, and then I'll update more on our life then. PHEW! No more threatening emails or phone calls about updating blogs please!!! ;)
