Thanksgiving and other random stuff

Ok, ok, I'm updating the blog! Aaron threatened to stop doing the dishes until I updated...so here I am! Thanksgiving was a lot of fun! My sister, Heidi, came on Thursday and stayed until Saturday, and it was great fun! She's a year older than me and one of my best friends (after Aaron, of course!) We went over to one of our friends from the ward's house, with 2 other couples, so there were 9 of us all together, and a couple of kids. We were assigned to bring stuffing and green bean casserole, both of which I can't stand. I'm not a huge fan of Thanksgiving food to begin with, so it's a good thing that we went over there, because Aaron was going to have to suffer through Thanksgiving with nothing to eat but pizza and cold cereal! Since the mere thought of stuffing makes me want to gag, Aaron made the food, and I guess it turned out mighty tasty! I made the Jello, but then we promptly forgot to bring it...so I'm still eating it! Doesn't Aaron look cute though, in his little apron?! (well, it's actually my apron...)

There were a few last minute preparations,
And then we were ready!
The men-folk had dish duty afterwards, it was kinda nice to just kick back and let them take care of it!
Of course, it looks like they are all trying to figure out what to do.... haha, they did a masterful job at cleaning up! Aaron and I both forgot to take a Thanksgiving picture though, we were kinda bummed. On Friday I worked at Bath and Body Works, and holy smokes was it busy!!! I only worked for 5 hours though, it wasn't bad. Afterwards Heidi and I went all domestic and hand made some Christmas gifts and made apple butter, it was actually fun! Don't tell though... ;) Aaron wanted us all to go to the Joseph Smith Memorial to watch the Christmas lighting, but we were having so much fun that we didn't want to leave, so he trudged down to Church street all by himself and watched the Church street Christmas lighting. They have a massive tree, it looks really nice! He took a video, but that will be posted on another post.
When Aaron got home from that, we went to a local pizza place for dinner, and got the only picture of me and Heidi both looking at the camera!
Heidi left on Saturday when I went to work, so it was a short trip but I had a lot of fun seeing her! It was a great Thanksgiving!!!
