Christmas Eve

This is what we (well I guess just me) hung outside our door all today today:

Why....because we wanted to make sure that we got all of our packages for Christmas! Savannah had to be at work at 8:15 this morning (when she normally goes in around 10:30) and I had an early morning appointment with the Elders at 9:00. After the appointment I took the investigator downtown so she could do some errands. Then I received a call from a member of the Bishopric. He needed me to help him with a visit to another sister. So I called my boss asked for a couple of hours off (which he graciously gave me...thanks Dad!!) and off I went. Now it was lunch time and I still hadn't cleaned the house or finished the grocery shopping. So I went to the store picked up a few items (didn't pick up what was on the list of course) and then went to go pick up Savannah to take her to her other job at 2:00pm. I ended up getting lunch at Costco and bought Savannah a slice of pizza as well. The funny part is she liked my lunch so much that she ate her slice of pizza and half of mine as well! After dropping her off at Bath and Body works I headed home and finished up my work that I needed too. Then I started to clean the house when I noticed that it was time to pick up Savannah from work. So you see that is why we have a note on our door. By the way the sign worked, all of our packages arrived and were sitting by the door when I got home! YEAH!! I even got my birthday package (yes my birthday package) today as well. So I am a happy camper and can't wait until Christmas tomorrow. I did think about calling everyone tomorrow morning at 8 eastern time to say Merry Christmas, but based on the way I have been calling my mom every morning at 8 arizona time this past week, I think I will hold off on that thought. Now why you ask have I been calling my mom every morning this past week....well I have nothing better to do and the office doesn't open for another half an hour. So what better than to call my mom....oh wait...half the time she is asleep!

I hope you enjoy the gifts. Our Italy ones still haven't made it home, so we'll have another opening when they show up. Charlie calls between 8 and 11, it will be wonderful. Merry Christmas!
