Ok, everyone who knows Aaron knows that he's really nice and sweet, and that sometimes what he says and what he really means don't exactly mesh. I've been trying to start working out, and here are 2 recent conversations we've had.
Aaron: Man, I need to gain some weight, my pants are so big they keep falling off!
Me: I know, I'll have lipo done, and you can have whatever they take out of me.
Aaron: No, you wouldn't want a fat lard of a husband, would you?
Me: ............ Did you just call me a fat lard?
Aaron: NO! I didn't mean it like that!
And the most recent one, we were walking yesterday...
Aaron: Hey honey, I figured out why you weigh so much!
Me: .................. Why do I weigh so much?
Aaron: Because you have a heart of gold, and gold weighs a lot!
He was trying so hard to give me a compliment and it came out so wrong! I couldn't help but laugh though!

:( I know how you feel. I was sitting at the kitchen table while Jeremy was doing something, and he said something that began with "Since you are overweight..." My teary eyes alerted him to dangerous territory. LOL! He said, "NO! NO! I only said that because YOU think you are overweight! I was just using the words YOU used!!!" Men are so funny...
oh...man...poor Aaron....walk away, men, yah! Love them!
I am still laughing about that one. Yes, you know that Aaron meant well and we all know that most men can't really express those "deep" emotions!
