Anyone who knows me knows that I don't like spiders. In fact, I'm pretty afraid of them. It's irrational, I know, but that's the way it is. Anyways, I'm down here in Henrieville, staying at my parents and working at the hotel. Yesterday I looked up and saw a spider in the hallway and I told my mom that we need to kill it. By we, I mean her...but she said no. I tried to convince her, but to no avail. I was going to be late for work, so I left, and got back home around 10:30. My parents had gone to vegas, so I had the place to myself. Aaron called to say goodnight, and I was walking into my room and looked down. The stupid spider from earlier was sitting in front of my room, staring at me with all its hundreds of eyes. Grrr. It must be the mind reading kind, because when I was trying to talk my mom into killing it, I was thinking "it's probably going to come into my room". Great. Since I was home alone, I had to pluck up enough courage to kill it. I grabbed my flip flop and hit it, but since it's a mind reading spider it dodged it, ran under the door crack into my room. Double great. I opened the door, but couldn't find it anywhere. Crap. I had pictures of it waiting until I fall asleep and crawling up the bed to bite me, so I promptly shut the door and slept in my parents bed!

Good for you! I would have done the same thing. :P
Savannah forgot to mention that I was still on the phone and now I only have 1 good ear left because the other is still ringing from when I was on the phone and she screamed when she saw that dumb spider. Can you believe she wanted me to come down there and kill it? I might have gone down, but not to kill a spider!
Yeah, well, Sunday night we'll have 7 more kids and another sister, plus my parents back at the house, so I'm not going to have a choice but to sleep there. Unless I make one of the nephews stay there....hmmm....that's an idea!
LOL sanna you crack me up! I'm with ya on the spiders...they are sooo gross!
Those darn spiders... you know they crawl into your mouth and nose while you sleep, don't you? hee hee..:) miss you!
Gee thanks for that Mindi! I actually clench my teeth at night so they won't get a chance to crawl in my mouth, but I've never thought about the nose thing. Darn you! First there's earwigs crawling in your ears and laying eggs, now spiders crawling in your nose. I might just have to buy a bubble to live in...oh wait! I'm in one! ;)
