I got a telephone call from my mom the other day and this is how it goes....
Mom: "How do you spell Savannah's last name....Thompson....Thomson...."
Me: (kind of caught off guard) "Um...I spell it W E E C H last time I checked, her last name is Weech, mom"
Mom: "Oh yea (laughs)...how do you spell her maiden name?"
We both laughed. It was pretty funny. I'm so glad I have a wonderful mom who can always make us laugh! Hope everyone is doing great. I just got back from Henrieville (where I left Savannah again) and will spend another week in Provo until I head back. Savannah is having lots of fun working and helping her family. On Saturday, Savannah and I took a little jaunt in the back roads of Tropic. Here is the area we drove in:
Yeah, I know not the best picture (and half of it is shaded due to national security issues because it is Bryce Canyon), but it sure was a fun little trip. Then we headed to the hotel and cleaned a couple of rooms. Then Savannah's dad had me help him fix some lights on the outside of the hotel. What exactly did he want me to do? Run the cherry picker and get him up in the air to fix the burned out lights. What does Savannah say? Don't kill my dad! Don't worry....I did just a fine job and didn't even dump him out!
Well we have three more weeks left in Utah and then head back to Vermont very quickly. It should be a great drive!

So does that mean no trip to lovely Arizona? We are so sad--after all, we have such beautiful weather!
Um, Weech (and apparently Thompson) hurry and get back here!!! Holy cow, it's starting to seem like you will never return!
LaNae- I tried to convince Aaron to come to AZ for a few days, but it didn't work. Guess we'll see you next year, unless you decide to come to VT!
Ariane- It started feeling like we would never return about a month and a half ago! We start our drive out there on August 26. Wanna fly to SLC and road trip with us?
