Fun Way to Start the Morning

I couldn't think of any better way than to start a morning than to have a firefighter tell you to "GET OUT NOW" of your house. Yes, that is how I started my morning. Let's start at the top....I started to make eggs, bacon, and toast for Savannah when I heard this HUGE and LOUD gushing sound. I told Savannah that it must be pouring outside and I was going to look....nope no rain at all. Then we both thought it could have been a fire hydrant or a street sweeper. Savannah heads off to work and then all these fire trucks start to roll onto our street and by our house. I then thought to myself....oh crud....it's a gas leak. That's when the firefighters were going door to door telling people to "GET OUT". I didn't even have time to grab anything but my phone and keys. Then I waited and waited and waited. More fire trucks and police cars showed up along with electric vans and gas vans. I did manage to sneak back into the house one time to grab the camera (cause that's important!) and then they blocked the street for good. I counted 10 firetrucks, 2 ambulances, a few police cars, and lots of gas and electric people. I talked to some neighbors who also were still in shock (and their pjs) because they had no idea what was going on. After about one hour they started to let people back into their houses. What a fun way to start the day!
