Yes, we flew home to Arizona last Friday right before the huge snowstorm hit the Mid Atlantic. We had a connecting flight in Philly that we made before the airport was shut down. Actually we had quite a fun time at the Burlington Airport in which Savannah tried to sneak a pocket knife in her carry-on thru security. Fortunately, TSA stopped her (and me for wearing baggy pants) and after I got the "pat down" along with the biohazard scan, I had to put the knife back into our checked luggage which was already loaded on the plane. As I went thru security for the second time (and the second pat down), an alarm went off. TSA started yelling "Breach, Breach, Breach" and shut down the lanes. Also, the doors to the airport were closing as well. After 15 or so minutes, someone figured out that it was only the fire alarm and the lanes were opened up. It was then that TSA asked me if my stuff was left unattended. Because I am sure that I told Savannah to "watch my stuff", I told them no. That's when I saw them move this "stuff" and it was my backpack (which contained my laptop and other precious goods). I said "uh hum....that's my stuff". The TSA supervisor went over to Savannah and royally chewed her out for not watching my bags. We did make it on the plane and had some awesome sandwiches and salads in Philly (I don't get too excited over airport food, but for this price and the quality it was really good). We made it to Phoenix a half hour ahead of schedule and now we are having lots of fun in the sun.

Ah, Savannah...always the troublemaker! You guys always manage to have adventures in the oddest places!
Enjoy the heat!
wow, with all the commotion I would think you guys would've been an hour behind. A half hour early isn't too shabby though.
Maybe that's why they request we be at the airport 2 hours early, so we make our flights in instances like these. lol
Glad you guys made it safe.
