The End of the Great Journey!!

Yes our cross country trip has ended. We arrived home about 8:30 pm tonight. I have decided that we had better not make anothe cross country trip for quite some time. 3 trips in less than 9 months is not as fun as it seems. We had a good time traveling across the country and got some good pictures as well. We will post some at a later time (yea I know...we always are saying that). We had the opportunity to stay with Savannah's sister and her family for a couple of days as well.  It is always fun to spend time with the family.  Savannah and I are very grateful to be home in Gilbert and that we can be with family here as well.  It should prove to be very fun times.  One bad thing about driving west is that the sun is in your eyes for a long period  of  time.  One good thing about this is we saw some cool images of the sun through trees, clouds, and even by itself.  When we were in Texas, we saw a tumbleweed fly across the highway but the camera was not quick enough to capture it.  It would have been a great shot.  The weather was good up until the last portion of our trip. Once we got past Gallup, New Mexico, it started to snow. It continued to snow until we got to the other side of Payson, Arizona where it rained. Here is what we had to drive through...

We will end up posting more once we get some sleep!
