Sleepover Time

Savannah and I had the pleasure of sleeping over at my grandparents house the other night because there was over 25 teenage girls who were at my parents house. Do you think that I was going to sleep with all those girls? Yeah right! So we spent the night at Grampy and Grammy's. It was a lot of fun. In the morning, Savannah made me breakfast....toast with peanut butter and jelly. This is one of my favorites because I don't like eating too heavy in the mornings. As I took my first bite, I noticed that my eyes were burning and that my nose was itching. I took a couple more bites and then realized that this was not normal. I asked Savannah what kind of jelly she had used. She responded "raspberry". I asked her to show me the container. Sure enough, it said "raspberry"....but also had the word "habanero" after it. I didn't really want that spicy of a breakfast, but oh well! I took some of the jelly off and then finished the toast.

Poor Savannah, she felt so bad that breakfast was not good. She did make up for it by packing me a nice lunch! Speaking about packed lunches, it has become quite a game at my office to see if I have the better lunch or not than some of the people I work with. For example, today some of them went out for sandwhiches and asked if I wanted one. I told them "no thanks, my wife packed me chicken cordon blu for lunch"...the response back was along the lines of "oh must be nice to have fancy lunches". I do have to say that the chicken cordon blu was made by my Grampy and it is the best! On Wednesday we both woke up late and Savannah didn't have time to make me anything so I took a frozen dinner, and all my coworkers were bummed that I didn't have something homemade!

You should start trading lunches with your co-workers, like how they do in grade school. That would be awesome!
