3,000 miles apart and still 2 weeks away

A couple of months ago I was told at work that it might be possible I would need to go to our New Jersey office for a "couple of days" to help them get organized.  I thought that it would be fine and said I was okay to travel.  Then last month, it was finalized that I would be going the last week in June for a week.  I told Savannah and her first response was "fine, I am going with you"....after looking at airfare tickets...her response was "I am going to Henrieville".  Flash forward to the current day (today, July 3)....I have been in New Jersey for 1 week and have been told that I will be here for two more weeks, but that I was authorized to stay until the job was completed.  Savannah is not happy that she cannot come out, but all she would do is sit in the hotel room as I have been working 12+ hour days and she can't drive the company car.  The Atlantic Ocean is beautiful and I can't wait until I can go onto the beach...which may not be until next week!  Until then, hopefully everyone is doing well.
