Boston Trip

At the end of September, Savannah and I took a trip to Boston.  Thursday morning, we got up really early and left for Boston.

We landed at 3pm, the same time that our good friends (Greg & Andrea Benson) arrived into town as well.  It was a race to the hotel.  We had a shuttle driver and won (only by 5 minutes)!  After checking into the hotel we relaxed for about an hour before setting out in search of food.  We ended up at the most delectable Nepali cuisine place- it was so unbelievably delicious!!!  Since we both had traveled that day we just went back to the hotel and relaxed again to the sound of rain.  The weather was great!

Friday we got up early and (after being called a hobo because I went to breakfast in my pj's)....

we headed to Salem. I was so excited for this, because I've wanted to go there FOREVER!!!! There is just way too much to post about that, so here's just a few photos.

They had the best cordial cherries I've ever had!

I did get a psychic reading.  It was a very entertaining waste of money!

Aaron's trip wasn't complete without chasing after this cop car on foot so he could get a picture of it...

Saturday we did a segway tour in Boston.  Segways ROCK!!!!  Seriously, it was way too much fun!

We also did the Fenway park tour...

We went to the famous Mike's Pastries (not worth it, btw.)

We went to Feneil Hall and shopped for souveniers, and finally found a bathroom.  With as many buildings as there are in Boston, you'd think it would be easy to find a bathroom, but not so!

Apparently by this time we were done taking photos, so here's a clocktower with Quincy Marketplace on the right.

Sunday we woke up early and everyone decided that we loved Salem so much we just had to go back, so we hopped in the car and went!

The Bensons had to leave after that.  Sad face.  We took naps (what?  it's Sunday!) and then went to 99 for dinner, where I ate an entire rack of ribs by myself.  Don't judge, they were so good!!

Monday we had to head back to reality, another sad face.  All in all, it was a great trip and we can't wait for the next one!
