It's not Christmas, nor is it July but hey! What else am I to do on a Sunday morning before church? Christmas in 2011 was a BLAST. We both had almost 10 days off, and spent them split between Henrieville and Vegas. We went to Henrieville first and hung out with family there. We started out at with dinner at my sisters house
After dinner we had a talent show by my super talented nephews and nieces. Santa came to visit after that, in his customary "sleigh"
Seriously, I love my nieces face there!
The celebrations continued down at my moms house
Don't you just love my moms "tree"?
My dad had some helpful gift runners so he wouldn't have to chuck them across the room like he normally does :)
It's been almost a year, so I'm a little fuzzy on the timeline. I'm pretty sure that on Christmas morning we all got up and headed to Vegas to meet up with the rest of the family. We congregated at my brothers house and had a family dinner/party/craziness.
Thanks to a camera with a timer that was precariously perched on a ladder, we got a family picture! We're missing a couple of members, but hey, we'll take what we can get. And seriously, is my mom not the most adorable mom ever?! She's front and center with all the grandkids.
James' head made a perfect canvas for the suction cups!
He got a chair that you can fit in your pocket and take anywhere....
And Hannah decided it was meant for her and wouldn't give it back!
One half of the room
And how freaking cute is my dad?!!
After dinner my oh so talented sister brought out the big guns. I think she made like 8 or 9 different pies, and everyone was in heaven! Seriously, if you are ever in the St. George area or within 2 hours of it, you've got to find Veyo Pies. She owns it, and they are the best pies I've EVER had! Marie Callender who? It's all about Veyo Pies!
We'll have to say "to be continued" because there are WAY too many pics to post about the rest of the vacation.
