On February 1, I found out at 3pm that I was needed in Arizona for a work project, expecting to come back the next Thursday. Savannah was already planning on being in AZ this upcoming week, so we figured that we would cross in the air or not spend a lot of time together. Surprise to everyone when I told them on Thursday that I would be coming back with Savannah on Tuesday. We got to spend some great time with my family and Savannah was able to do a lot of the wedding stuff.
For the work project, we had a few other people who flew out as well. Since I was deemed "the native", I was able to pick all sorts of good places to eat. No one went hungry from my group! We stayed at the Legacy Golf Resort and it was a nice place.
Even though the bed was nice, I still miss my own. Savannah was able to fly in that Wednesday night and stay with me at the resort. Then we stayed at my parent's house for the reminder of the trip. It was very nice to see everyone. I was even able to help Grampy eat these wonderful turnovers that he made!
