This week was very very very cold and the area had lots of snow. I got to work from home for 3
days.
On Sunday, we had Stake conference. Savannah and I sang as part of the missionary choir. Yes, people actually stayed! During conference, it snowed and snowed. The roads were very dangerous. We almost got into an accident. We were driving down the freeway and the car in front of us started to do a 180 degree turn. Then once the car came to a stop, the driver (it was a woman) shut off her car. I sort of had to slam on my brakes and barely didn't run into her. The sister missionaries who were following in their car behind us hit the snowbank with their car. I felt bad, but also glad that they didn't hit us! I got out of our car and helped the lady position her car. Then I pushed her off. By this time, since there had been other accidents on the freeway, the fire and police had shown up. Since no one was hurt they left. Quite the excitement!
