Saturday / Sunday

Well I feel a lot better now that I have passed the stone. That little thing sure did cause a lot of pain.....don't want to experience that again. So now I drink a lot more than what I was drinking! On Saturday (cause today is Sunday) I went to the store and bought stuff for our Sunday Potluck at the church. I made a taco salad (details to follow). Also I finally got around to doing my laundry and started on some of my homework that I did not get to this last week. Other than that, I did not really do that much. Now onto the details of the taco salad, I skyped home and talked with Mom and Savannah while I prepped the meat and cut the tomatoes and everything . It was quite fun to talk to them while I started the taco salad. Then on Sunday, to start things off I didn't wake up to my alarm and was running behind but made it on time for everything. Church was good, my records finally arrived and I gave the closing prayer. I bet I give a talk in the coming months and then another when Savannah gets here as well. I also get to give the Single Adult lesson for next week because the instructor is going to be gone. I was volunteered for that assignment. But it shouldn't be too hard. Then after church was over, I went into the kitchen to cut up my lettuce and finish my taco salad. Apparently I used the wrong trash can.......some member told me that this particular trash can was not for trash in the kitchen........it was for trash somewhere else. A couple of the ladies saw what happened and told me that I am now an official member of the ward.....I guess this member is known for this. The salad was good and I will get a picture posted along with another that I took. Then a few of us after church went to another member's house and played games all evening. It was fun. Now I am getting ready for bed because it has been a long weekend and I have homework to finish for tomorrow. Oh by the way it is 48 degrees and a frost warning has been issued. It is getting cold quick. Love you all!
