Tuesday

Whew....what a day. I had my three classes plus a digital forensic association (DFA) meeting to attend. So my classes went well. I had psych, intercultural communication, and my telecommunication and network classes today. Just lots of notes to take. Wish I had a lighter laptop to carry around. We have our special guest speaker who wrote our community book coming to campus this Friday so I have to actually read the book and be prepared for that. It should go well. As I was preparing for my presentation tomorrow I must have printed out over 100 pages of notes in the library. I couldn't believe it. And THEN the printer kept on jamming, so I used my brillant deduction skills and figured out someone had filled the paper tray too full. So I removed quite a few pieces of paper. Then I went back to my work. After a while I had to print some more and what do you know ALL that paper I had taken out was back in the printer causing it to JAM again......uuuggggg. So I put the paper in a higher spot so it wouldn't happen to me again. In my DFA meeting tonight we learned about the HTCIA (High Technology Crime Investigation Association) and the big conference that was just held this last month in CA. Then we had a computer forensic specialist talk to us about the new Windows Operating System Vista and the good/bad points for doing forensic work on a Vista system. Holy cow......that was a lot of information that I am still trying to understand in the hour that we held the meeting. Good thing I have a few more years to understand some of this information. Also they are looking for students to help staff the Champlain College Center for Digital Investigation (C3DI) so I am looking into that as well for internship position. I will let you know what happens. Well it has been a long day so I am going to bed. Hope everyone is having fun!
