Wednesday

What a busy day....and pretty too! First I would like to tell a story. I met with my academic advisor to make sure that I am right on track and that everything in the transfer worked out for me. Well let's just say that it didn't. So I had to meet with admissions again and I had the counselors do another credit audit to make sure that all my classes that didn't transfer before could somehow transfer. Well we found some good matches and now I have 70 credits that transferred and only about 60 credits left (required and electives). So I am a junior and only have two years left! That was very exciting to find out. I am working with the assistant program director as well to see if we can't get more to transfer or at least waive some other basic classes like intro to web research or intro to spreadsheets. It's a work in progress. My presentation went well for my history class. I talked for 10 or so minutes. Now to just start on the paper. In my American Lit class we had a very heated debate about politics, religion, and personal relationships. When we talked about different types of sin, I was a little adamant on my position, but I saw it was not really going anywhere, so I decided it was in the best interest to just stop talking and let everything go. Some people have very different opinions about what should occur before marriage and what should happen after. I am so glad that we have a Prophet to tell us exactly what the Lord wants and how it should happen. Also I went out with the missionaries. We went and visited a progressing investigator and some other members. It was really good and I am glad that I can help the missionaries on their visits. Although I did have to give them a history lesson (once we were in the car) about a certain bible story because they didn't quite have the facts straight. It was funny. You should email me if you want the details! Well the weather has been quite warm (in the 70's) and humid. It lightly rained yesterday and I actually saw people in rain jackets. I was like are you crazy!?! It was a good day. Love to all!
