Thanksgiving Day!!!

Well, I am really full. After 3 dinners, I am ready to just go to bed. The first dinner I attended was put on by the YSA's in the ward. That was really good. Some pictures were taken, so I will see if I can get some to post. Then I went to the dinner at our student housing. There was only a few students there. The food was great as well. I had to wash the dishes used in my dishwasher because the other dishwasher was broken. Then I hurried to the store and bought some chicken broth for my noodles. After that I went to Bob's to start cooking dinner. At about 5:00pm, the Elders showed up and a few minutes later everything was ready! We ate a lot and the food was just great! Something interesting we had was maple syrup with our sweet taters and apple pie with cheddar cheese. Quite good! The Elders had planned to watch a movie but didn't have the right stuff, so I ran home and grabbed my laptop. We watched a DVD on my laptop with the Elders and then they left. It started to rain and it left ice on the road and my car!! Then I helped do the dishes and clean up. After that we talked for a few minutes and then I left. When I got home, I realized I couldn't find my laptop. Realizing I had left it at Bob's house, I got back into my car and drove back to Bob's house. I got my laptop and drove home! Yes, I drove very carefully. It is more dangerous to walk around here I think than drive!! Maybe after I see some accidents, I will change my mind! After talking to everyone back home, I am now going to bed. It sounds like everyone had a good day. It is supposed to be a high of 27 tomorrow and snow as well. The low is going to be 15!!! I'm going shopping for warmer clothes!!!!!!!!

Still thought I would see some snow pictures! It is always good to talk to you and feel your pulse. You must be accomplishing a lot with school, missionary and preparing for marriage. Not long now and you will have an eternal companion with you - sure hope you find a place to make your home!!! Love ya - Grampy
