Ah, the weekend!

Saturday was a great day!!! We slept in, and when we woke up the sun was shining! I love the sun!!! We went to the church for the first session of conference, and that was really great! We both love conference and the chance to listen to all those great men and women teach us! Afterwards we took the elders and sisters out to eat at Applebee's, and it was pretty tasty! Applebee's is located at the mall, and since we were already there we decided to look around. Some friends out here introduced us to "speed scrabble" and I've been looking for it ever since! It's so fun!!! Smiths and Zinkes, I'm thinking we're going to have to plan a speed scrabble/karaoke night...Anyways, we didn't find that game, but while we were there Aaron found something that he liked, and he looked so adorable with his little puppy face that I couldn't say no!!!

I felt left out, and found something that I'd like to try doing, especially because Aunt Pam makes such great scarfs!!!
We headed home, and since it was so nice outside decided to take a walk down by the lake. So we walked around church street and up and down the lake front for a few hours. Here's a few shots of the great view that we had!

After the lake we stopped by Ben and Jerry's on church street for a sugar rush to get us home on! I've discovered my new most favorite ice cream right now....

That's right, Creme Brulee. It's amazing!!! As if the creamy goodness of the custard ice cream isn't enough, they add ribbons of carmelized sugar in...it's heavenly!!! We got back just in time for Aaron to quickly change back into his suit and go back to the church for priesthood session, and I stayed at the house and talked to my mom.
Sunday was just as great! It was soooo nice outside, we had all the windows open and there was a nice breeze blowing through while we watched conference at our house. We took a walk between sessions, and found a great park that I think we're going to have to go to on a different day so we can play on the swings! Love to all!!!

You want someone to vote and thus be committed - why didn't you put "both" so choices didn't have to be made. Course, the woman is always the best looking - sorry about that Aaron but that is the way it is!!!
One of these days we are going to have to break out routine and try Applebees - and the ice cream sounds great - just no Ben & Jerry's out here that I know of - I think it is an Eastern thing - could be wrong though - never get out you know.
We enjoyed conference today too. Had a big wedding to go to yesterday so missed Priesthood meeting and shouldn't have. Big client though so - made the wrong choice!!!
Love ya - Grampy

Hmmm....I'm thinking that you should find a temple or something of Lego's that Aaron could build! Old habits die hard. And as for the vote...Savannah would get mine just because I don't think any guy should wear those!!! :)
Sounds like you had a great weekend!
Love you

I think knitting scarfs are more complicated then crocheting them. At least that is what I think. It's really easy the way I do them though, but it's addicting and if you're like me, you have to have a scarf that matches everything. We found an ice cream on clearance for $1.00 a 1/2 gallon called caramel nut. It's caramel ice cream with marshmellow swirl mixed with salted nuts....yum! I love Ben and Jerry's to.

You are welcomed here any time! We just kick Bry back down to the downstairs bedroom with Jacob and then we have a guest room. Plus the couches are great! So the crocheting...if you can single and double crocheting...then you have a scarf...if you come this summer, I'll show you...easy stuff!

Speed Scrabble isn't a game that is sold seperately. It should be because it totally rocks! Just buy a regular scrabble game with the wooden tiles.

**The other day, one of my Aunts said to Clayton, "What is your brother's name?" He said, "My brother Weech!" I cracked up. He misses you guys! It's cute.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a husband still obsessed with legos! It looks like you are doing well back east, and I am definitely going to try that ice cream!
