Honey, I'm HOME!!!

Yes, we’re back in Vermont and have lots to update! This time we even got pictures!!! Saturday the 23rd we drove to Vegas to hang out with my family for the night, but before we left I went to the Super Saturday event that Dena was in charge of. It was fabulous! I made this cute watch!

Sunday my parents came to Vegas and we spent the afternoon with them and my little sister, Dixie. Dixie brought her hair stuff to the condo we were staying at and did this to my hair…

I was craving In-n-Out Burger, and since there was no food in the condo, Aaron, my dad, and Jeremy (Dixie’s boyfriend) went and got it for us while Dixie did my hair.

Monday morning we flew out of the Vegas airport at 6:30 am, and the flight was delightfully uneventful! Most of the people slept the whole time and we were in the very front so we didn’t have to hear any screaming kids. We had a layover in Newark, and the flight took off on time again, and landed about 20 minutes early so we were happy again! We got our luggage and rental car and I was cold! It was about 60 outside when we landed so I wanted to grab a sweater or something! I’m used to it now though, no worries!

Tuesday we went to Grand Isle (about 30 minutes from Burlington) to pick up our car from our neighbors barn, and came back to the apartment to unpack.

I’ve decided that I don’t like unpacking! Sigh. The rest of the week was pretty uneventful, Sunday we taught our primary class and I led my first primary singing time (I’m the new primary chorister, go me!) We bought a breadmaker so I could make bread instead of buying it…

Aaron was so happy, he was like a kid at Christmas!

I tried my hand at a pot roast….

This is what it looked like….It looked pretty ugly, but it tasted pretty good! We had a nice non-eventful Sunday afternoon, and we went for a walk down by the river.

It was fun, but there are so many stinkin bugs here, I’m going crazy! Aaron hasn’t gotten a single bite, but I’m peppered with them.

This is one that’s on my leg, it’s bigger than a quarter! GRRRR!!! That’s the one bonus that Arizona has…No bugs!!! And that’s not the worst bite either! I have one on my shoulder that seriously made it swell. I think I’m allergic to these stupid creatures! Oh well, we had fun anyways!
