On Labor day we went to the Fair!! It was so much fun!!! I’ve been to a fair before in Panguitch, UT but it didn’t have any fun rides or anything, and not much else! I won a blue ribbon though once for my biscuits when I was in 4H…. Anyways, we did laundry all morning long (Aaron thought he was going to die, it was hilarious!) and headed to the fair around 5. It was perfect timing because everyone was leaving so there was no wait to go on any of the rides! There were all sorts of stands selling really gross food, like fried dough, chicken on a stick, funnel cakes, basically deep fried fat. Mmmmm, good. We settled on “freedom fries” (ew, gross) a hot dog (Costco’s are better) and a funnel cake. We’d never tried one before and it was surprisingly tasty. Not that I would ever eat one outside of a fair, but it was good.
There were all sorts of fun rides, like the boat ride ( I don’t know what it’s called, but they have one at Lagoon that’s a boat…it swings back and forth until you practically fall out and then you’re done. It’s freaking awesome!!!) the Ferris Wheel, (I hate this one! I really really really hate this one!) the YoYo, the Orbiter, and my absolute favorite, the Freak Out! The last one was aptly named, because I got on it and everyone was freaking out! It was the best ride there! I asked Aaron to go on all the rides with me, but when we were on the Orbiter I looked over and he seriously looked like he was going to puke, (think of Sandlot when they take the big wad of tobacco and go on that ride….that’s what he looked like, I was cracking up!!!) so I didn’t ask him to go on any more, but he would have if I asked! He’s such a babe!

We bought the cutest little dress for our niece, and we watched a whole bunch of shows. The hypnotist show is always a good one, and we saw an acrobat show ( it was actually pretty good!)

There was also a family there called the “amazing Mills family” and they were HILARIOUS!!! It was a juggling, joking, unicycle riding, basically very entertaining family and it was great! Definitely our favorite thing of the whole day! (ok, so we’re geeks, stop laughing!)
Aaron won a cute teddy bear for me at one of the game stands, and then we called it a night since Aaron had his first day of school the next day.
