So last night, Savannah had to work until 8pm and I was left all alone at the house. Now, the house was a bit messy and she didn't leave me any money (or the car) to go and get dinner. I knew that she would arrive home around 8:15 after she got off work. Well.....I thought and thought what would make her happy and decided that making dinner and cleaning the house would do just fine. The first problem (yes....this is just the first one....)occured when I looked at the clock and thought it said 8 o'clock....I wondered how the time had passed so quickly and scurried around picking up the house and still trying to think what I could make for dinner.....then I noticed the clock again...it didn't read 8 o'clock....it read 7 o'clock. So I slowed down and finished cleaning the house. Then I looked into our FULL (yes.....completely FULL) freezer and pulled out some chicken breasts. Then I got the alfredo sauce and fettucine noodles. I wanted to make a salad as well, so I got out the tomotoes, boiled eggs, cheese, and finally the......letttuce??? I don't think it could be called that....it was awful....so that was the second problem....no salad, but I had all the fixins ready! So I called Savannah and asked her to pick up a head of lettuce....third problem......she didn't have any money on her (now most would say taht this is not a problem, but when one wants to have a salad, it is a problem!). Anyways, I threw out the salad idea and by this time, I had everything all ready and Savannah walked into the door. Boy was she surprised!
