And we are off!

We packed the apartment all up, washed every single piece of clothing we own (minus the winter stuff), cleaned the apartment really nice, and then took off for our fun journey across the country. We will try to update the blog with our exciting adventures.

For the first excitement, I got a telephone call from the company that I am doing the internship with and for the first few minutes almost thought that they were calling to cancel! Once they realized what I was thinking, they assured me that it was still on but that I was being moved to a different division within the company. I have to sign all these confidential papers because I get to do lots of fun stuff. They told me that the second, third, and fouth days there I would be attending a bootcamp for one of their programs. They told me all the fine details and even mentioned that I might get a security card to access the building during the day.

The guy who I was talking to said that they have options to work from home but then said I should be careful to not be sucked into the "vortex"....I kinda laughed and said "it's okay, once I get a project, it's all I can do, just ask my wife"....he laughed and said yea...when she starts to call you on your cell asking when you are coming home, you have been sucked into it.

The department I will mostly be working with sounds like lots of fun and I get to play with all of the cool products! The training guy asked me which product I wanted to specialize in and I told him all of them. We shall see how many I get to work with and test to ensure quality assurance. I am really excited (so is Savannah) but not as much as me!
