We made it to Rochester today. We are staying with Savannah's sister, Heidi. We decided to get a GPS unit to help us navigate across the country (something about Savannah not liking my direction giving skills she said?? I don't know what she is talking about!!). Anyways, we are an hour into our travel when the GPS tells us to turn left....then turn left again. I comment that if we make one more left turn we would be back in Vermont. Then we notice the freeway off the to right side of the road where we turned.....hmmmm....so what is going? We continue driving and notice that we get deeper and deeper into the backwoods of who knows where. We pull over and check out the GPS. After a few menu settings, we notice that is says "Avoidances". So we click on it and what does it say?? The box to "Avoid Traffic" is checked. Well we uncheck the box....the unit says "recalculating" in its Australian accent and behold we are given a new route....at least the unit was working because we definitely did not have any traffic! We will post some more later tonight!

You need to give it a name...ours is Nancy the Navagator..so you can't use that one! Drive safe!
Ours is a male voice, with an australian accent, so we named it dingo!
