WHAT??!!??

I was reviewing the bank statement for this last month and this is what I saw and thought:
Delta Airlines - okay, not reasonable, but necessary for graduation
Hotel - yea, that was okay
Car Rental - yep, didn't want to walk around town (I have already done that, thank you)
IOS - hmmm...charge is for $33.17....what the heck is this?

I ask Savannah if she recognizes the charge and she replies nope. Since she looks at the statement more often than me, I ask her why she didn't tell me sooner. Her reply "well it looked weird, but I thought it was something you did". I immediately start thinking about all the charges around that time. It dawns on me that Savannah couldn't find her phone when I was at the airport so I look up the company and sure enough it is a telephone operator service. There are also a good number of people who posted about this company and said they are a scam. I look at my phone records and yep there it is, a whopping two minute phone call. Boy am I hopping mad right now! I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, sent an email to the bank detailing everything and disputing the charge, and cancelled the credit cards for good measure (just in case it is a scam)! I am just getting started! Monday, I will call the hotel and tell them about their operator service and then I am going to call the operator service and tell them as well. I plan on calling the Attorney General's office of Vermont and Arizona too. GRRRRRR!
