Weekend in Burlington

Savannah and I flew to Burlington, Vermont for a few days to visit a very nice friend who had her wedding reception.  We left on Thursday and then came back on Monday (just a couple of days before the major storm).  When Savannah and I arrived on Thursday, we had a lot of fun with the hotel and car upgrades we received.  Also the hotel room was very nice (thanks to all the traveling I did over the summer and accumulated a few travel points).  The only sad part was that the "hot tub" had been removed from the hotel (which Savannah had been looking forward to very much).  On Friday, Savannah went to visit some of her friends while I just hung out and read a new book that she had brought.  Later that night we went out to eat at a favorite restaurant with our friends.  On Saturday, we ate breakfast with another good friend and the helped prepare for the reception later that night.  This involved me making many trips to Costco and the grocery store.  I almost forgot some important items, but I grabbed them at the last minute.  Sunday, we went to the Burlington Ward and got to see many friends.  Later that day we went to the Benson's and had dinner with them.  It was a lot of fun.  Monday we woke up to snow and 19 degree weather.  When we got to Phoenix, it was 70 degrees and sunny.  What a difference!  Yes, we do have pictures, but no we have not had time to upload them. Hopefully soon!  Everyone have a great day!

And I feel honored that we are the only friends with a name! I think I have that awesome picture of Savannah wearing bread(ed) sunglasses.
