All is not lost

Yesterday at work, one of my bosses and I decided that we NEEDED Filbertos for lunch, and since he's been sick, I volunteered to go get it.  I turned onto the main road and went about 200 yards when I saw a guy in the far right lane pushing his truck.  Well, he was trying to push it, anyway, but he wasn't getting very far.  I thought "oh, I should help him", but there were cars behind me, so I had to drive through the light.  As soon as I could turn around though, I did, and headed back his direction.  He had only progressed about 5 feet at that point.

I turned into the nearest neighborhood and hopped out of my car.  Two burly guys were walking by me, heading the same direction.  I asked if they were going to help the guy, and they said yes.  Just then, another van stopped in the street and a man jumped out and ran over to help as well.   I didn't get to help, but my eyes *might* have gotten a little misty at the sight of 3 men all pitching in to help a stranger.  Sometimes people are cranky, and sometimes I become convinced that there aren't nice people in the world.  It really made my day knowing that people are willing to help others.  All is not lost.

What an awesome story. It's something you'd read in an Ensign. :D

My husband said, "Blessings for all!" Ha ha ha!

Blessings for all indeed! I'm pretty sure Jeremy would have been one of the men helping the stranger had he been here. You should be proud!
