What? Huh? Have you lost your mind(s)? Well...yes. But that's beside the point!! The title is an exerpt of the conversation Aaron and I had this morning. Let me set the stage:
I was whining the other day about not being in school and learning stuff right now. Aaron decided to "fix" the situtation by creating little "lessons" for me. Monday was supposed to be his first "lesson"- he was going to start teaching me spanish, but we slept in, so that didn't work too well.
This morning he popped out of bed when the alarm went off and dragged me out too. He threw some sweats, a tshirt, and some shoes at me and told me we were going somewhere. We dashed out the door, and he told me we were going for a morning stroll at the animal sanctuary thing across the street. We started categorizing birds in to small, medium and large and it was all fine and dandy, until we get to a little lake. In the lake were a bunch of ducks and geese. We decided to stop and watch them for a few minutes, and the ducks swam away. The geese got together and started swimming with very determined looks. Aaron asked if they were coming our way, to which I replied "no, they'll stay in the water". Uhh..I was totally wrong! They all swam to the edge where we were, and instead of stopping or turning around they hopped out of the water and waddled up to us - within about 6 inches of pecking us- and followed us until we got back on the path and left the area!
Aaron definitely accomplished his "lesson"- don't underestimate the geese!

Eeee...geese are nasty. I don't like birds in general, but big birds give me the heebie jeebies.
