Busy busy and all alone

I have been very busy at work this last week.  Our 24/7 support team is undergoing some changes and I have had to help them out.  It certainly makes for very long nights and weekends.  Also we have several new projects that will be a lot of fun for me to work on in the coming months!  As everyone knows, Savannah has family in West Des Moines (or as we just say Des Moines).  This family is starting to build a house and Savannah is very excited to join in the fun.  Her mom and dad even drove back to help out as well.   Savannah's travels started this last week.  She came back home and is planning on going back to Des Moines later on.  Since she is coming and going, this means I get to try my cooking skills out!

We went to the Liberty Jail Historic Anniversary (which was the 12th).  We attended a silent auction and got some really awesome books signed by the authors as well.  Then on the 13th, Elder Ballard spoke at a regional fireside.  It was really neat to have an Apostle come!
