This is the week which we cleaned our house, packed up the suitcases and got ready for our upcoming big trip. We will be leaving this Tuesday to Arizona and Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and then coming back in a week.
For those that like to keep up with our adventures, we continue to look at houses. We have found some cute ones, but nothing that really strikes us as the "one". So we are still looking. It is something to pass the time. It has even become a daily ritual. We both look online for houses which we think the other will "love", look at them and then pass.
Savannah was home this last week. I really like it when she is. She made an awesome breakfast burrito for me one day. No one can claim that I go hungry when she is around! We both went to West Des Moines for the weekend to help out and build the house. The house is coming along very well. If only the weather would cooperate. It was really cold. I know that I continue to say it, but I think that the wind chill was -10 on Tuesday.
