This last week we spent time getting ready for Christmas. I cannot believe that another year has passed by. Where does the time go? We did have a pretty large snow and ice storm. Large enough to warrant our church services being cancelled. It was our turn to clean the church building and I didn't want to do it on Saturday (that's when the storm was supposed to hit), so a few of us did it on Friday night. We almost had everything done in about an hour! The storm didn't hit on Saturday, but started late that night and by Sunday morning, we had snow and ice. It is not the snow here that causes concern, but the ice. It is very slick to drive on. I had a couple of incidents where I hit the brakes, but the car just slid right through the stop sign. Good thing I said my prayers!
