On Tuesday, as we headed back home the airport was crazy! The lines to check in were out the door and then we got to security. Wow! I don't even know how to explain the lines. They were the longest I have seen in a long time. We almost missed airplane, but as we were rushing to another security gate we met lady from our ward in Overland Park who was visiting family. She was in a wheelchair and her escort let us in with her. If that had not happened, we would not have made our flight. Little miracles! The flight was nice and I took a nap (which is customary and part of the travel experience). Savannah has been practicing with the Independence Messiah Choir and they performed Friday-Sunday. I got to attend the dress rehearsal with her parents. It was very nice.
We both have been fighting some kind of bug that we believe we picked up from our flight. Savannah was sick for 3 days while she had to sing! I have to go back to work tomorrow. Hopefully, the building didn't burn down and they survived without me!
