Memorial Day

Memorial day is a time where we can remember all those who have died so that we can have all the freedoms that this Nation offers.  This is how we spent our Memorial Day weekend.  We went up to Des Moines because Savannah's family was going to do a reunion in Nauvoo in the upcoming week.  Once we got to Des Moines, I found out that the youth in ward were doing a Temple trip to Winter Quarters, but needed more priesthood.  I volunteered to go with my brother in law and 2 nephews.  It was a lot of fun and great time to spend with them.  Then as more and more family came into town, we all headed to the Stake President's house where we swam, had a picnic and enjoyed catching up with everyone.  This week will surely be fun for all!

God Bless those Men and Women who have died so we can continue to enjoy our time with families and friends.
