Nauvoo Trip - Day 1

Our summer vacation this year was a trip with Savannah's family to Navuoo and Carthage.  As we started from Des Moines, we got to stop at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.

Then before we reached Illinois, we stopped at Old Fort Madison which is just across from Nauvoo.

After our stop there, we crossed the state line and headed to Nauvoo!

The Nauvoo temple is very pretty!  We already had scheduled a time to go in a couple of days.
